Field Trip Scholarship Program: covering the costs of bringing students from schools with limited resources for farm visits.
Communities served include:
Niles, Chicago, Evanston, Skokie,
Des Plaines, Mount Prospect,
Palatine, Wadsworth, Waukegan,
and Woodridge.
Farm Apprentice Program: introduces high school or college-aged students to small scale production agriculture through hands-on experiences in the fields and with the livestock at Wagner Farm. FWF covers the costs of two 9-week paid internships.

Provided the majority of construction costs for the award-winning Historic Wagner Farm Heritage Center

Purchase of the Historic Wagner Farm Outreach Trailer which allows farm staff to take animals and equipment “on the road” to schools and organizations, therefore providing access to those who may not otherwise be able to participate in the farm programs
